Animation certainly makes this a viewer experience. Can't find the right words to express this thought.
lexcen,
contrasts: black & white,
active background & still subject,
frenetic motion and uber-calm sonics of lotti's beautiful 'crucifixus'
at warnell.com, on an i5 computer with 64-bit browser, animation is ultra-fast and becomes almost a shimmering white light
at codepo(), this dynamic javascript is served from a google/blogger server to this post -- javascripts are not permitted in blogger posts(!)
you are a brave man to comment here, lexcen -- i think that many might view this simple work as a religious blasphemy (it's not) -- thanks

Very da'Vinci really
mo,
of course!
leo had it goin' on :)

I think I liked the non-animated version better. I find the constantly flashing version very tiring to the eye (I'm spending too much time on computers anyway). I'll pass on that one.
nathalie,
i tend to agree
and prefer still images --
it is necessary, too, from time to time,
to explore what more can be done with this 'new media' -- sometimes results are good, sometimes not -- it is only by trying that we find out what works and what doesn't -- but yes, still images are my preference, too

oooooh....I likey! I definately like the moving bits - way cool
xox
pinks
pinks,
i almost don't want
to see you -- you visit so rarely -- but then i relent and absolve you of all sins in the name of vitruvius...
uh oh ;)
