Red I want red I should praise its wonderful qualities and I do. But I love most of all the vibrant colours you give us

It is a lovely poem dear /t., I must be colour blind as I thought the dots were dark gray.

mo,

for you

THIS TEXT IS RED <3

dianne,

not color blind,
but you hint at an issue
long known to new media artists...

results of our efforts here in the cyberstream can and will vary widely -- differences of computer equipment: newer or older, faster or slower, with or without this or that capability; differences of operating system and web browser: safari, firefox, chrome, and etc; and differences in system and user settings; language options, text sizes, color and other overrides, and etc

dark green dots to one might be dark gray boxes to another -- new media artists know this and can compensate to some degree by making artworks that function essentially as intended with either dots or boxes

a better option, imo, is for artists working in new media to embrace the unique capabilities and to produce artworks that explore and celebrate the differences -- a new way of thinking about what art is and how it works, and that might in time give rise to a new art form(!)

so you see, dianne, your vision is perfect <3

Perfect autumn image.

I do see the dots as dark green.
Random trees. Empty fields separated by deep hedges. A few bushes in the hedges aren't as thick as the others. Perhaps a gate in the middle. A deep shadow creeps in the right bottom corner. Night comes fast as winter arrives.

nathalie,

please do not be frightened ;)
but i think that you and i actually
think very much alike with respect to 'reading'
& interpreting these kinds of works -- literally visually!

and with thanks <3
