awww, you missed me(!) well, i've been busy with real world stuff and taking a break from the keyboard, but i'll be around to all of your blogs in the next few days
The image is amazing, makes me wanna stare at it for hours. The legend I think I do not get it, sadly, My English is not that good, I am going to start taking lessons again. Excelent work t!
you'll be first on my blog visits! maybe you'll have something new to post in coming days or weeks

phos,
not too far off from SD -- a bit farther west and just north of the montana-canada border -- the rockies are about an hour west
dianne,
thanks, dear! i miss you, too
that's prairie grass poking through six or eight inches of snow just south of medicine hat, alberta -- this picture was taken sometime in late winter or early spring -- i love the prairie in all seasons

foam,
lovely, yes -- we stopped for this pic because of the beautiful blue hills there in the distance -- i don't know why they were so vivid, but this really is (close to) what they looked like -- as i recall, the day was (relatively) warm for the season (and thus the drive)

mariana,
thank you so much!
the caption immediately below the image says [ CLICK TO ENLARGE ] -- the image is linked to another (same image) in high resolution -- if you click on the pic, then you will be able to see much more detail in little farm buildings in the distance, for example -- your english is very good!
well, it said "click to enlarge" but when I clicked on it, I could see a fence waaaaaay back there, and since there was snow on the ground, I think that nobody has enlarged this, yet.

Yes, please do visit. I have nothing new up as of yet, though.
Pretty snow.
Looks too cold. Reminds me of the prairies around Rapid City, SD.
So pleased that you have returned, I have missed you dear /t.
Very nice,is that sand and grass with a barbed wire fence or are we looking at snow?
