Time to eat the grass. :-)
yes, LL
bring the flock!
can bbq season be far off now? :)
¤ ¤ ¤
/t.
Oh no! We may not be visiting you!
visually really interesting ..
but, i was wondering if the urban planners had planned for some wetlands to encourage such wild life as green frogs in duckweed, etc ..
LL,
i'd miss you!
¤ ¤ ¤
foam,
wetlands? alas, no... tho they have planned for a most stylish border:
style='border: 1px #909690 solid'
thanks!
¤ ¤ ¤
/t.
If I come visit you may put me in the bbq.
well, a few stripes of green and some green dots doen't quite cut the mustard (no mustard on my meat, thankyou)
There's no way this Winter is EVER going to end, is it?
Considering how it began (and this was the most shocking thing I saw all season) was that the first two cold storms breezed by you up there and slammed right into Indiana, then made their way to the South East.
Dang!
You're going to have Summer before us, aren't you?
LL,
ok, thanks!
but if you bring
dolly7, i won't have to :)
¤ ¤ ¤
boneman,
you're welcome, buddy :)
/t.
i do like the stylish border ..
it's something an acadian hairstreak could land on before fluttering on to find some flowers ..
It reminds me of some harsh steel architectural high rise development with some planning for green space...
some softness to alleviate the stolid nature of the building...I just love the greens. ♥
11:11 again. oh boy can the space ships be far behind let them get trapped in the web of urban spring. which doesnt smell nearly as good as irish spring.
foam,
satyrium acadica
sounds a bit like a fellini movie /w french subtitles :)
¤ ¤ ¤
dianne,
a 10x10 foot 'natural area' in the middle of an atrium -- nature tamed -- who are we kidding?
¤ ¤ ¤
k9,
we grind up a couple bars of irish spring here & sprinkle it around the garden to keep the deer away from the flower beds -- they don't like the taste or even the smell of it
¤ ¤ ¤
/t.
my husband informs me it repels men as well. thats why i bathe in eau de steak. grrherhahaha
k9,
judging by
your many admirers,
i'd say you're on to something :)

Now this one should have been posted on 17 March. Looks like a bunch of leprechauns on the run
mo,
ha ha yes,
why, so it does :)
/t.
leprachauns?
Dang! Is it catching?
I thought we we're supposed to catch THEM!
So....just watched a tub of margerine extract that calls itself 'Proud To Be Canadian' but is also advertised as 'consevative' and gets all its info from something called FOX News.
(that last really weighs heavily on ignoring it altogether) but as usual...none of what I just wrote has anything to do with my question.
(nothing new, there, eh?)
is Canada, or parts of, a socialist state.
I'm not dissing.
I'm just asking...
and, the question...
(yes, it's true, that wasn't the question, either)
(drumroll, please........)
are you folks happy with what you call your government there?
Well, except for being fined $150 for getting caught without your seatbelts, that is.
boneman,
canadians
prefer to think
of our state as sociable
as to our government, we have the same liars, thieves, and asshats running things here as there -- and of course we love them :)
/t.
I know few Canadians as honest as you.
OK, I guess maybe more than just a few....
But they're all down at the pub drinking Canadian Club!
And they seem to be mixing it with good ol' Mountain Dew!
leprechans? or long haired leaping gnomes with tributes of irish spring? i think the latter.
boneman,
cc & mountain dew --
that's true canadian redneck!
k9,
grrherha ha ha

hey...those lines are moving.
(or perhaps you're right. I get up too early)
So, about that. It was a trick, last year, to rise so soon
Still able to see the silver moon
I just wanted to live. To live!
I looked one day and about got sick, my life was nearer to its last tune. So I laughed it off in a lampoon. But, I wanted to live. To LIVE!
My picture went to that which is seen, called "closer to the end" in my computer machine, but Even so, I wanted to live. TO LIVE!
And then, one day, in the strangest way, making someone I didn't know laugh and play, I suddenly relized, I WAS living. Oh. I am alive.
And since that morning, I now see the Sun's glory, and feel the warmth fill my small little story. I AM ALIVE! I AM ALIVE!
(Although to be true, I'll secret to you, even though I've grown so fond of the morning? I hear the Sun whispering to my dreams and
my snoring. But I hear it still, whispering "...you're alive. You're still living!")
I really like the outline. The curves
totenbaum
I can't really see, but, with that fancy picture on my sidebar, it alsmost looks like it's moving.
When first arriving, indeed, I believe I had to scroll down a scosh to see the green, though now it's plainly in siget when I get here.
But, on my page, too?
It is very reminiscent of how my vision was for a couple days after the staring into the sun incident. Mom was right after all!!
spring's green shows up sparsely in the suburbs, despite row after row of lawns spreading from doorstep to curb.
suburban spring - caged, trapped, by all those suburban rules and regulations.
i forgot to add - i like this piece.
friends,
thank you
for your comments
bird,
lovely to find you here again :)
oh, and that's an interesting interp(!)

What's that avatar you're wearing today, boneman?
Well, it looks like the new MexiCanadian Bypass, cause our greedy senators are too busy sucking dollars to really give a hoot about building it.
(from the Onion News)
Close the borders and we'll be doing everyone a favor. Tired of Canuks coming down here and poaching our lambs.
Spring be comin' to the 'hood, beotch!!
i came by with the week wacker to see if your urban greenery needed some trimming ..
but it seems to be maintaining itself quite well ..
however, i can always weedwhack away at phos :D
What's
that avatar
you're wearing today, boneman?
phos,
true enough, buddy -- might be time to get out of dodge and head for the coast -- surf, sand, sunlight -- life's a beoch!
foam,
you're suggesting that my friend phos is a weed?!? maybe just a little around the edges...

AWESOME /t.
Urban Design
good news, bad news.
The good news is in the Fall I bought two malls made in Canada
the bad news is, the secnd one is busting before I'm done with my work (the first one dropped away when the whole backside cracked)
oh well.
foam can whack my weeds anytime - hoohah!!!
Lot's of parks in urban Canada?
Canada is a park.
:-D
I thought Canada was pure wilderness. Parks are made by humans. But, this might generate a deep philosophical/religious problematising ... and we will not sit on that park bench, do we?
friends,
thanks again
for your comments
things are fine here, but a bit busy
thanks for looking in
/t.
It's a pleasure t./
<3
ah....
makes me think of those satellite images - only much better. more style - haha! I like this one a lot.
